Science Fair: Experiment
The science fair experiment is the most common type of science fair project. Students will choose a topic/question they are interested in exploring and create an experiment to test a hypothesis. Students will use the scientific method to complete their experiment. Students who desire to attend the Fairfield Union District-wide Science Fair must complete a scientific experiment (sometimes called a scientific investigation). Students must also create a display board along with the required written formal lab report to participate in the district-wide science fair.
There are 3 main steps to complete the Science Fair: Experiment project:
1. Complete Experiment
2. Plan a Presentation
3. Write a Lab Report about Experiment
*Please see the packet below for specific requirements and details.
